Terms and Conditions:

 Cancellation/Refund Policy:

Deposits are non-refundable after May 1. Before May 1, deposits are refundable minus $20 admin fee.
No refunds will be issued for unused days or early departures.

 Deposit Policy:

A $100 deposit per cottage is required to secure your booking.

 Visitors Policy:

All visitors are subject to a fee and for insurance purposes, visitors must register at the office upon arrival. All visitors must comply with all rules and regulations of the property.

 Damage Policy:

We reserve the right to charge up too, but not limited to $500.00 for damages, lost, or stolen items sustained by guests during their stay. Charges will be applied to the credit card on file provided to us upon making the reservation.

 Cleaning Policy:

All garbage & recyclables from the cottage must be removed and discarded at the designated garbage areas on the resort. The cottage must be kept in the same state of cleanliness and general condition that it was found in. Failure to do so will result in a cleaning fee of a minimum of $75.00 and up.


Please keep the grounds clear and safe from litter. Cottages are supplied with garbage bins and blue boxes for your use. We have central recycling and garbage, it is located at the front of the property, please dispose properly.

 Pet Policy:

Unfortunately we do not accommodate pets.

 Smoking Policy:

Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage or enclosed porch area at any time. A minimum cleaning fee of $300 will be charged to anyone smoking in the cottage.

 Quiet Time:

From 11:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m.


Swim at your own risk, there is no lifeguard on duty. Please no glass on the beach or in the swimming area.


Use designated campfire area only. Last one at the fire, please put it out with a bucket of lake water. Campfires during quiet time are allowed, as well as dock fishing.

***Note: excessive noise or unruly behaviour will not be tolerated at any time. Failure to comply with this regulation will result in immediate eviction without a refund. Please respect your neighbour’s cottage area.


The management of Ambleside Cottage Resort cannot be held responsible for accidents, damages, injuries, and lost or missing articles. Use of the facilities and equipment’s is at your own risk. All guests are required to sign an agreement upon arrival. Guests must comply with housekeeping rules posted in the cottages. Guests are responsible for the behaviour, actions and safety of their guests and children. These policies are in place for protection and for every guest to ensure their stay is enjoyable and a memorable experience.
